CULTURAL NIGHT AT THE EMBASSY OF ARMENIA IN STOCKHOLM

The Embassy of Armenia to Sweden participated in the annual Stockholm Culture Night.
A photo exhibition dedicated to the 2800th anniversary of Armenia’s capital Yerevan has been held at the premises of the Embassy. Dozens of exhibits, provided by the Yerevan History Museum, helped shed light on the history of Yerevan from ancient times to the present day.
Parallelly the documentaries ”A Capital Older than Rome” and ”Armenia, the Land of Noah” has been screened numerous times.
The Federation of Armenian Organizations in Sweden organized book sales of Swedish publications about Armenia and Armenians.
The event which ran until midnight was attended by around one and half thousand visitors who had an opportunity to discuss the questions related to the history and the present of Yerevan and Armenia, got acquainted with the touristic tours to Armenia, tasted Armenian food and wine.
