Bilateral Relations

General information

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Kingdom of Norway were established on 5 June, 1992.

On October 18, 2021, Helen Sand Andresen, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Norway to the Republic of Armenia (residence in Tbilisi) presented her credentials to Armen Sarkissian, President of the Republic of Armenia.

On October 25, 2018 Alexander Arzumanyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Kingdom of Norway (residence in Stockholm) presented his credentials to King Harald the Fifth of Norway.

In April 2001 Timothy David Straight was appointed Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Norway in Armenia.
