Meeting between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Sweden

On June 15, in Luxembourg, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden Maria Malmer Stenergard.

The Foreign Minister of Sweden congratulated Ararat Mirzoyan on holding the parliamentary elections in accordance with high democratic standards and on the victory.

The interlocutors noted with satisfaction the high level of political dialogue between Armenia and Sweden, emphasizing the ongoing work towards expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields. Both bilateral agenda items and the prospects for deepening the Armenia-EU partnership, including Sweden's support for the democratic reforms and the strengthening of economic resilience in Armenia were touched upon.
