Meeting of the Secretary General of the Foreign the Ministry of Armenia with the representatives of the International IDEA intergovernmental organisation of Sweden

On November 11, in Stockholm, Davit Karapetyan, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia had a meeting with the representatives of the International IDEA intergovernmental organisation of Sweden.

Both sides emphasised the importance of cooperation between Armenia and the Organisation, focused on Armenia's democratic development, particularly, in the areas of constitutional reforms, election management and civil society engagement.

The Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry reiterated Armenia’s commitment to advancing democratic reforms and discussing the prospects of the Organisation’s consistent support in strengthening the integrity, transparency and public trust of elections in Armenia, particularly ahead of the 2026 parliamentary elections.
