On March 14, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, who is in Copenhagen on an official visit, met with Karsten Lauritzen, Minister for Taxation of Denmark.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to the promotion of Armenian-Danish trade and economic relations. The Ministers agreed that the elaboration of a relevant legal framework would boost the expansion of business contacts.

At the end of the meeting, Edward Nalbandian and Karsten Lauritzen signed the Convention between the Republic of Armenia and the Kingdom of Denmark for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income and on Capital.
