Ra Ministry of Diaspora and Yerevan State University presents “Diaspora” Summer School

On the basis of Yerevan State University, the RA Ministry of Diaspora is organizing ‘’Diaspora’’ summer school during 2016 which aimed at preseving Armenian national identity, increasing the level of the knowledge of the Armenian language among young generation and the activities of the Diaspora's mass media in the Armenian Communties of Diaspora as well as promoting to the self-organization of the Diaspora communities.

“Diaspora’’ summer school has 5 course directions:

1. “Accelerated Armenian language classes ” (between 3-30 July)

2. Training course of the armenian language and history teachers and educational mission organizers (between 3-30 July);

3. Courses for Armenian young leaders and community work organizers (between 3-16 July).

4. Courses for the journalists (between 3-16 July)

5. Master classes for choirmasters/teachers of the folk song and dance groups (between 3-16 July)

First-time participants will be provided shared accommodations (in hotel rooms for 3-6 people).

Those who previously participated in the "Diaspora" summer school courses are free to participate in the trainings and to attend all the classes, but the accommodation will not be provided for them.

All travel expenses (air tickets, etc.) are covered by participants. Ccourses will be held in Armenian only. Applications will be accepted electronically by 31 May 2016.
